B Curve, Type A (AC & Residual Pulsating DC Current)

A Residual Current Breaker with Over-Current suitable for use with the Load limiter 63 range of consumer units from Dorman Smith. An RCBO combines the functionality of both an MCB and RCD to protect against faults. Being a B Curve device means it will trip between 3 to 5 times the full load current. This is the Dorman Smith KR1PB0630A 6 Amp B Curve Single Pole 10kA 240V Type A RCBO.

These RCBO’s are Type A rated so are able to detect AC (Alternating Current) and pulsating DC (Direct Current) components.
